Plan your visit with our Sensory map

At the Sciencenter, we want every visitor to feel welcome and comfortable. Our Sensory Map highlights areas throughout the museum with features like loud sounds, bright or low lighting, strong smells, and temperature changes.

Whether you’re neurodivergent, visiting with young children, or simply planning your day, this map helps you explore at your own pace.

We also offer sensory kits during your visit with noise-reducing headphones and fidget tools, available at the front desk. Just ask a staff member!

Social Stories

To support all visitors in feeling prepared and confident for their visit, we offer Social Stories—narratives that walk through what to expect at the Sciencenter. These guides are especially helpful for visitors with sensory sensitivities, autism, or anxiety, but can benefit anyone who prefers extra preparation.
