The Sciencenter is a great place for a birthday party. Enjoy a private party room, and explore our hands-on exhibits with your friends! For Sciencenter members, you receive a discounted rate when you host a party.
Please note that we are unable to book birthday parties in July and August.
Sciencenter and reciprocal museum memberships are not applicable for party guests. The member discount only applies to the purchaser.

21-30 people: $375
31-40 people: $475
Non-Member Price:
1-20 people: $325

**A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking
Party FAQ's
Can I bring decorations?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own tabletop decorations and/or activities. Items that are not permitted include glitter, confetti, pinatas, and hanging/wall decorations.
How many guests are allowed?
The maximum number of people permitted is 40, including adults and the birthday child.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, we welcome you to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy in the party room. There is not much time to eat a full meal before opening presents or exploring the museum. We recommend light snacks. Alcohol is not permitted on the museum premises.
How will my guests check in for the party?
You will be asked for a list of your invited attendees prior to the date of your party. The front desk will use this list to check in your guests as they arrive.
How do I pay?
Payment is due at the end of your party. When you arrive, please leave your ID with our front desk team. You’ll pick it up when you’re ready to pay.
