Library Membership
Public libraries are invited to become a Member of the Sciencenter, which enables all patrons to visit for free.
Sciencenter Library Memberships are a great way to offer your library patrons more opportunities to learn and discover.
How it works
Library patrons can check out a pass, like a book, from their local library then bring it in for free entry to the museum. At the end of the check out period, the passes get returned to the library. Each Library Pass admits a household of up to two adults and their children, or up to 2 adults and their grandchildren.
Price: $125 per pass for your catalogue
*We recommend two passes for circulation
Your library will receive the number of Sciencenter passes requested upon application to use in your circulation for patrons. Replacement cost for lost passes is $5 each.

WHAT COMES WITH A LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Libraries get an annual membership to the Sciencenter, which comes with the number of passes you specify when you apply. Visitors will be asked to show their own library card and photo ID as well as the pass in order to receive the free admission.
Membership options are flexible to meet the needs of each individual library:
- Standard Library Membership: $250 for 2 passes (recommended option)
- One-Pass Option: $125
- Additional Passes: $125 each
- Replacement Pass Fee: $5 per pass
Can the pass be used for other benefits?
The pass is a Sciencenter access pass only. It cannot be used to access other locations in the ASTC network of museums, or for discounts on Sciencenter Store purchases, birthday parties, mini-golf, or summer camp.

- Passes can be used by families and households only
- Passes can not be used by businesses or community organizations
HOW LONG IS THE LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP VALID?
The passes are good for one year, at which time you can renew the membership, and we will send you updated passes. Renewal reminders will be sent at least 4 weeks in advance of membership expiration.
How can we pay?
Invoices can be sent in advance of payment. Payment can be made either by check or directly through Membership Services over the phone with a credit card.
