How to Get Here
The Sciencenter is located at 601 1st Street, Ithaca, NY 14850.
- Take NYS Rte 13 to the light at 3rd Street and turn East, away from the Farmer’s Market.
- Turn left immediately onto Franklin Street.
- The Sciencenter is at the corner of 1st and Franklin Streets.
- Turn left at the stop sign to enter the free Sciencenter parking lot.
- Follow the signs to the main entrance.

Bus Unloading / Loading
- Take NYS Rte 13 to the light at 3rd Street and turn East, away from the Farmer’s Market.
- Go straight on 3rd Street, one full block and turn left onto Adams Street.
- Go two blocks, turn left on Alice Miller Way.
- Take another left onto Franklin Street.
- Pull up to the Group Entrance on your right.
There is space for three buses to park at this entrance for the duration of the visit, and is the easiest place for groups to enter and exit the building. Please turn off your engine immediately.

The Sciencenter makes a great day trip from areas like Rochester, Syracuse or Binghamton, but there’s plenty to do if you want to make a weekend of it.
The Sciencenter is part of the Discovery Trail – a collection of fascinating sites to visit around Ithaca that include museums, nature centers, and cultural attractions.
