Badgework

Have fun and earn badges during your visit to the Sciencenter. Follow the link below for a list of some of the Brownie and Junior badge requirements you can complete during your visit. As new exhibitions open we will do our best to provide badge-earning information for them. Or come with your badge book and look for more activities that fulfill badge requirements. Download a list of badge related activities.
Special Programs

Meet exotic amphibians, craft a kite, or listen to Japanese folk tales. These are just some examples of special programs you might find on an ordinary weekend. You may want to plan your visit to take advantage of a presentation or activity (free with admission). To find out about upcoming events, visit our online calendar.
Exhibitions

In addition to over 200 permanent exhibits like our tide pool touch tankand walk-in camera, we also have two galleries featuring exhibitions that change seasonally. For more information about our changing exhibitions, please visit our current exhibitions web page.
Outdoor Activities (Open Seasonally)

Visit the Emerson Science Park where you can run and play on a variety of science-themed playground elements. The Emerson Science Park is included with admission. Don't forget Galaxy Golf, our unique miniature golf course that challenges players with a different principle of science or math at each hole. There is an additional charge for Galaxy Golf.

Whenever you visit, you are welcome to spend as much time as you like exploring and playing in the museum. You can bring a picnic or order a pizza and enjoy a meal with your troop in the NYSEG Community Room or the outdoor Emerson Science Park.
