What happens to fundraising after a successful capital campaign results in a much celebrated new building?

Our recent capital campaign inspired us all to "imagine the possibilities" of an expanded museum. It also provided an avenue through which many individuals and organizations could come together to contribute their financial support toward a grand project that promises to be a lasting and valuable community resource.

In the post-campaign era, the importance of giving does not diminish. In fact, your annual support is more important than ever. Now that the dust has settled from construction, we are once again focusing on what we do best - providing members of our community with inspiring and engaging hands-on science experiences.

The Sciencenter Annual Fund provides the foundation for the museum's yearly operating budget. A successful annual campaign provides the resources that help us keep our prices for museum admission and special programs affordable. Annual gifts also support special educational programs like Showtime, our live science presentations held on select Saturdays, and Storytime, a Curiosity Corner event for preschool-age visitors held on the second Tuesday of each month.

We hope you will consider making a gift to the Sciencenter Annual Fund this year. In doing so, you help us pursue our new vision of touching the mind of each and every young person in our local community.
