Endowed Funds at the Sciencenter

Unrestricted Endowment Funds - Memorial funds and funds contributed by members and friends over the years. The income supports Sciencenter operations, events, and programs.

Sharon Bloch Fund - Established in 1999 by an anonymous donor in memory of Sharon Bloch, a lover of science centers and neighborhood revitalization. The income supports public science events for children.

Saltonstall Fund - Established by Peter and Tacie Saltonstall in honor of Peter's mother. The income supports live-animal exhibits.

Sciencenter Fund - Established in 1993 by friends of the Sciencenter in support of programs and exhibits. Funds are held by the Tompkins County Foundation, and the Sciencenter receives the income.

Trautmann Fund - established in 2001 by friends and family in honor of Charlie Trautmann, the first executive director of the Sciencenter. The income supports maintenance of the Sciencenter.
